Alkaline water benefits have been in the spotlight of late as an alternative framework of looking at the causes of various diseases and ailments has captured the attention of a considerable segment of modern society.

Tap Water - NEUTRAL

Distilled Water - ACIDIC

Mineral Water - ALKALINE
This type of water usually comes from a natural well or spring and normally contains a specified amount of trace minerals such as calcium and magnesium. These natural minerals contribute to good health.
Alkaline Ionized Water - ALKALINE
This water, whether it is originally obtained as tap or mineral or purified water, has undergone a process by which its hydrogen ions have been altered and its resultant pH rating is in the 'slightly alkaline' range of between 7 and 7.4. Many claim that this type of water is the 'healthiest' type of water as its alkaline state allows it to impart various health benefits.

Alkaline water is widely acknowledged to eliminate acid wastes that come from a variety of sources - through diet high in animal fat, smoking, polluted environment, stress and other activities that give out toxins. By flushing these acidic wastes away, the body balance is restored. Hence, a body that is in the slightly alkaline state may become a formidable line of defense against various ailments.
